Who we are and what this policy covers
Broom The Room, LLC and its affiliated entities (together, Broom The Room, we, us) use personal information to respond to inquiries and coordinate cleaning services. This policy covers broomtheroom.com, clean.broomtheroom.com, our quote forms, and related calls, messages and booking interactions. Separate third-party services may also have their own privacy notices. Your use of our website and services is also governed by our Terms of Service at Terms of Service.

Information we collect
You may provide your full name, email, phone number, ZIP code, property address, cleaning needs, property size, preferred dates or contact times, and messages. We retain the name you provide and may separate it into first and last name fields in connected systems.
When you submit contact details in the first quote step, we may save that inquiry and follow up even if you do not complete the property step. Property details submitted later supplement the same inquiry. A quote request is not a booking.
We keep communication preferences and records of consent, including the wording presented, your choices, date and time, and source. When you book, we may also receive booking, service, payment-status and transaction information from our booking or payment providers. Please do not send payment-card details, alarm codes or sensitive personal information through ordinary inquiry fields. Payments are processed by the payment processor we use (Stripe is the current processor but that may change from time to time) and we do not store full payment-card numbers on our systems.
Our websites and service providers may collect IP addresses, browser and device information, page visits, referring links, cookie identifiers and advertising click identifiers. These help operate the website, protect it, understand visits and measure advertising.
How we use and disclose information
We use information to answer requests, prepare quotes, coordinate appointments, provide customer support, process transactions, prevent misuse and maintain business records. The independent cleaning professionals (Service Providers) who perform your booking receive information reasonably needed to arrange and carry out the requested work.
We use service providers for website hosting, customer relationship management (CRM), booking, payment processing, communications, automation and business recordkeeping. Depending on their role, these providers receive contact details, inquiry and property information, booking and transaction records, or communications and preference records needed to perform their services. Our CRM helps us manage inquiries, customer relationships, appointments and follow-up communications. Access should be limited to the work each provider performs for us. Analytics and advertising tools are described separately below. We may disclose information where legally required or to protect rights and safety. If Broom The Room is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing or sale of assets, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.
Text messages and your choices
Service texts and promotional texts have separate choices. Agreeing to our Terms of Service, supplying a phone number, requesting a quote or calling us does not by itself enroll you in either text program. You can decline texts and still request a quote or book cleaning services.
We do not sell SMS opt-in data or consent records or share them with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing. We share this information only with providers that help deliver and administer our messaging program, or as required by law. This restriction takes priority over any general advertising language in this policy.
Reply STOP to stop texts or HELP for help. You can also contact us by phone or email to change preferences or withdraw consent. An opt-out does not cancel an appointment. See our SMS Terms at SMS Terms.
Cookies, website analytics and advertising measurement
Microsoft Clarity
When enabled on our websites, we use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors interact with pages and improve the website and quote-request experience. Clarity provides behavioral analytics, heatmaps and session replays, which reconstruct interactions such as clicks, scrolling and navigation. It may collect usage information, browser and device information, IP addresses and identifiers through cookies and similar technologies. This information is shared with Microsoft, whose collection and use of information, including applicable advertising uses, are described in the Microsoft Privacy Statement: https://privacy.microsoft.com/en-us/privacystatement.
Google Analytics
When enabled on our websites, we use Google Analytics to understand visitor traffic, measure interactions such as page views and quote-request events, and improve the website. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to collect information such as pages visited, referral sources, browser and device information, identifiers and interactions with the website. This information is sent to Google for processing and reporting. Advertising measurement
Where enabled on our websites, we use the Google Ads tag and the Meta Pixel to measure advertising performance. These tools may collect pages visited, actions such as requesting a quote or booking a service, IP addresses, browser and device information, and cookie or advertising identifiers. Information collected by an enabled tool is sent to its provider, Google or Meta, which reports results to us and may also use it as described in its own privacy policy.
Where enabled and permitted, we may send Google and Meta a hashed version of your email address or phone number to help match a quote request or booking to an advertisement. Hashing converts an identifier into a coded value using a one-way process. The value can still be matched to information held by the recipient, so it is not anonymous. We do not share SMS consent records or information collected solely for text-message enrollment with advertising platforms.
You can adjust your browser’s cookie settings and manage advertising preferences through Google’s Ad Settings at adssettings.google.com or your Facebook or Instagram account settings. Cookies and similar tools may support essential functions, analytics and advertising measurement. Browser settings can restrict cookies, although some site functions may be affected.
Retention, security and privacy requests
We keep personal information for the time reasonably needed for the purposes described here, including service delivery, recordkeeping, legal obligations and disputes. Consent and suppression records may need to be retained to document preferences and prevent further unwanted messages. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no system is completely secure.
Contact hello@broomtheroom.com to request access, correction or deletion, or to ask about advertising preferences. Depending on applicable law, you may have additional rights to obtain a copy of information, opt out of sale or targeted advertising, or appeal a denied request. We may verify your identity and retain information where legally permitted or required. To appeal, reply to our response explaining your concern.
Children, external links and policy changes
Our quote and booking services are intended only for adults 18 and older. If you believe someone under 18 provided personal information, contact us so we can address it. External websites follow their own privacy policies. We will post changes here with an updated effective date and provide additional notice or obtain consent when required.
